I have to tell you that I only lasted about 5 minutes before my eyes were watering and my fingers were numb and I had to run back inside to the warmth of my blankie and my nice laptop.. For a moment though, I was out there in the blowing snow and not just admiring it from the window..

I’ve felt so much better every time I look at it ever since.. You don’t often get to see in our bedroom because it’s half-torn apart and also not really a renovating priority right now, but that’s where the dresser is, so today’s your lucky day!.I did the most boring, unimaginative thing to it: I painted it white and stuck on some new hardware, and I couldn’t be happier with it.. And the white? It’s not even a cool distressed chalk-paint antique white, in fact it’s the opposite.
I went completely un-trendy and did it in a super duper glossy shiny bright white..I needed that.. Here’s how it looked before:.
Don’t you love how much junk fell out of the drawers in just the one year we’ve been here?
We don’t even use this dresser that much, in fact it’s going to be going upstairs into the room we’ve just started working on..I have such a tough time with some of our glass light fixtures around the house.
We get so much dust and pet fur that seems to find a home on them and spraying it directly with glass cleaner (or my favorite, rubbing alcohol!)often seems to make half of it stick to the glass and get left behind.
Quickly remove all of the excess dust and debris before you do the final shine by vacuuming it off with the soft brush attachment!.Vacuum bed sheets and quilts between washings to keep pet fur from building up.
